Transforming vision into the Journoo.Israa logo

Project details:

Problem:

Journoo.Israa wanted a visual identity she could use across business cards, flyers, and promotional materials to spread the word about her business. She also wanted the branding to reflect her work in both journalism and photography together.

Solution:

To shape her visual identity, I worked with five key words she wanted her target audience to associate with her brand. Using these as a foundation, I built a moodboard and developed a logo design that tells her story and resonates with the right audience.

Tools:

  • Pinterest

  • Canva

  • Adobe Illustrator

  • Notion

Exploring the look and feel

The Moodboard

She wanted her brand to be seen as bold, concise, minimal, and clean. I used these words as direction and explored Pinterest for inspiration, gathering illustrations, logos, fonts, and imagery that conveyed this vibe before moving into the design process.

I sent it to the client for approval and she loved it and wanted to proceed with this design direction.

The refined direction

The Final Solution

I explored several design concepts before arriving at the final direction.

The design combined the client’s desired brand perception with her story as a journalist and photographer. I explained the strategic reasoning behind each element, showing how they aligned with her goals.

The client loved the outcome with no revisions, and I then placed the design into mockups to demonstrate how it would look in real-life applications.

Kind words from my clients
